Planet First

The inspiration for The Powder Shampoo came to me when I thought about the world my children and grandchildren would grow up in.

I learned that greenhouse gas emissions could rise to 49 metric tons by 2030, and double by 2050—leading to irreversible damage to the planet we call home. This shook me to my core. The thought that my grandchildren may never know what it’s like to walk through a forest or feel grass beneath their feet deeply troubled me. It was a moment of reflection, and I realized that many long-standing industry practices simply didn’t make sense in today’s world.

What revolution did you want to make?

From that moment, I set out on a mission to change the way we shower. I believe there is a better, smarter, and more sustainable way for us to care for our hair and body.

I envisioned a product that would retain the cleansing power and pleasure of foaming shampoos and body washes, while being effective, enjoyable, and easy to use. But just as important was the goal of creating it without plastic packaging.

The result? The Powder Shampoo was born.
